These Terms are an agreement between you and Know Your Ride Technologies LLC (“Know Your Ride,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using knowyourride.net (the “Service”), you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Know Your Ride provides reference information only — not professional mechanical advice. We are not a licensed mechanic. Maintenance schedules, guides, diagnostic-code explanations, specifications, and recommendations are general reference information.
Always verify against your vehicle’s owner’s manual and the guidance of a qualified mechanic before performing any work. Know Your Ride is not liable for repair outcomes, vehicle damage, or personal injury resulting from use of, or reliance on, information on the platform. You are solely responsible for how you use it, and you assume all risk for any DIY repairs you choose to perform.
Vehicle specifications and maintenance intervals come from many sources (including NHTSA, the EPA, and OEM publications) and may contain errors or may not match your specific vehicle, trim, or year. Know Your Ride makes no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available.” Always cross-check critical values (torque, fluid capacities, part numbers) against your factory documentation.
Promotional codes (such as BETA2026) are single use, non-transferable, and have no cash value. Know Your Ride may modify, suspend, or terminate any promotion at any time.

Know Your Ride may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity, or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Know Your Ride Technologies LLC and its operators, contributors, and licensors will not be liable for any vehicle damage, personal injury, property damage, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you use the free tier).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Please email hello@knowyourride.net first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. If we can’t within 30 days, any dispute will be settled by binding arbitration seated in Travis County, Texas, on an individual basis. You and Know Your Ride waive the right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change, and material updates will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
